Welcome to Hair by Nora. I'm excited you've stopped by!  Started my journey with hair when I was a young teen. I'd cut and color friends and relatives, anyone who would let me experiment.  Although my hair got the brunt of my creativity.. unfortunately. I loved that a new color or haircut could have the power to change one's appearance and self-image so drastically. I was amazed how a little face-framed haircut or a few highlights could actually change the way someone feels about themselves! As they'd peer at their reflection, confidence and pose would radiate off of them! It was an easy choice when it became time to choose my career. 

I've now been working behind the chair for almost a decade and love what I do.  Graduating in 2010 from Ricci's Academy in Newtown. I started my career in lower Fairfield County, working under very skilled and knowledgeable stylists which gave me a strong foundation for what has become a very fruitful career.  In 2014 after having my first child, I needed to work closer to home. I settled down in Milford, CT, and never looked back. Since then, I have been honing my craft and reaping the benefits of a creative and flexible career! I realized early on that participating in advanced education is one of the most important tools I can give myself. I've become somewhat of an education junkie and really enjoy learning new skills. Being certified with many of the leading professional brands on the market gives me diversity to execute any task proficiently.

On my time off, I enjoy spending time with my family and my animals. We love to spend time outside and explore new local eats. My 6-year-old loves being creative so I'm often on Pinterest trying to find our next project. My happy place is in the saddle; my daughter and I both enjoy horseback riding. You can find me at the barn hanging out with the horses at least a few times a week!
